Corporate Social Responsibility

BOS Shelf pays great attention to organization and participation in a number of socially oriented projects of Azerbaijan and particularly the Garadagh district, where the company is located, following the concept of Corporate Social Responsibility.

Contribution to the social prosperity of Azerbaijan is one of the fundamental aspects of our responsibilities.

Every summer, BOS Self conducts charity programs, together with the local trade union, such as the care program for people with hearing and speech impairments, organized in the city of Gabala, in "Tufandag" and "Qabaland" recreation complexes.

BOS Shelf actively supports sports events, initiating a large list of charitable sports projects. In particular, BOS Shelf sponsors the Mini-Football League and the annual judo tournament dedicated to the memory of the national leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev. The tournament remains the object of interest for both local and foreign athletes.

Aside from building its own sports complex, BOS Shelf regularly rents sports facilities in rural areas to provide children from low-income families with the possibility of free classes in various sports disciplines.

Caring for Nagorno-Karabakh war veterans has also always been a priority of BOS Shelf's social policy. Currently, over 200 veterans of the Nagorno-Karabakh War are our staff members. We have also organized free trainings for 15 participants of the 2016 April battles. The candidates were offered permanent jobs after successfully passing the trainings.
