BOS Shelf has established a well-structured HSE Management System which includes BOS Shelf policy, Commitment to Health, Safety and Enviroment issues and describes the organisation, structure and methods adopted for the implementation and development of its own integrated HSE Management System and the consequent achievement of BOS Shelf's objectives and targets.

HSE Management Program / Plan
The HSE Management Plan has been developed as a framework document which establishes the HSE Management principles and procedures applicable to the project and describes how the identified HSE issues will be managed during the project phases.

Risk Assessment
BOS Shelf recognizes that risk Assessment is a qualitative method of evaluation risks associated with a particular task or activity.
All work with a potential to cause injury to personnel, damage to equipment or the environment is assessed and documented.
Chemical Risk Assessments (COSHH) are prepared for materials used during painting and coating, welding, grinding and other substances such as oils and fuels in line with the applicable Regulations.

Effectiveness & Adequacy of the Management System
HSE Procedures and Systems are further developed using good practices and lessons learned.
The HSE Management System continues to be robust and is visible to all levels of the organisation to ensure that the workforce is aware of their ongoing commitment to HSE.
BOS Shelf has been certified by Bureau Veritas International Certification body on OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System.
